Journalist Patrick Boyland reports that Everton have started negotiations for the acquisition of Manchester United midfielder James Garner. It is said that "Red Devils" coach Erik ten Hag does not see the 21-year-old Englishman in his plans and the club is willing to sell the midfielder for around £14 million. James Garner was one of the main contributors to Nottingham Forest's success last season, helping the "Tricksters" secure promotion to the Premier League. Patrick Boyland also added that United's talent has attracted interest from Premier League clubs such as Southampton, Leicester City, and Tottenham. James Garner played 49 matches for Forest last season, scoring 4 goals and providing 10 assists.
