"Everton" Fallen Face First in Mud Brought Shame to English Football

During the offseason, by spending a large sum of money on new players, the "Everton" club is playing catastrophically.

The team, which is currently in 16th place in the English championship, doesn't look much better in the Europa League tournament, where they are the outsiders in Group E.

Yesterday, the "Toffees" suffered another blow - in front of their own fans, they were crushed by Bergamo's "Atalanta" team with a score of 1:5.

This defeat brought shame to all of English football, as such a crushing defeat in the Europa League or UEFA Cup tournament has not been experienced for many years.

The last time this happened was in 1996, when "Nottingham Forest" was beaten by "Bayern Munich" with the same scoreline.

"Everton" also became only the second English club to earn just one point in the first five matches of a European tournament group stage.

The other team being "Blackburn Rovers", who played poorly in the 1995-1996 season.
