After Romelu Lukaku's departure, Liverpool's "Everton" team is prepared to release a hefty sum this winter for a new striker.
"Daily Mirror" reports that Ronald Koeman's coached team will once again try to acquire London's "Arsenal" forward Olivier Giroud, who was close to leaving in the summer.
After talks with Arsene Wenger, O. Giroud decided to stay in North London, but he is not satisfied with his playing time this season - the French forward has lost his place to Danny Welbeck or Alexandre Lacazette and has only played four matches so far.
According to the source, the "Everton" team is willing to pay 40 million pounds for the 30-year-old footballer.
O. Giroud has been playing for "Arsenal" since 2012 and has already played 231 matches.
