"Everton" sacked R. Koeman

At Liverpool's "Everton" club - changes: due to poor results, Ronald Koeman was dismissed from the position of head coach.

The 54-year-old strategist took the reins of the "Toffees" in the summer of 2016. The first season at Everton was quite decent - they achieved a seventh-place finish in the Premier League.

However, this season is not going as expected for the "Everton" club and its fans - after spending nearly 160 million euros in the summer, they are displaying poor results in the league.

During the current Premier League season "Everton" has only managed to win twice in nine matches played and suffered five defeats. As a result, they find themselves in the relegation zone (18th position).

R. Koeman became the third Premier League manager to lose his job this season. Previously, Frank de Boer and Craig Shakespeare were also sacked from their clubs.
