Last weekend, a scandal arose in Norway. Nightclub visitors were surprised when one of the country's most famous footballers, Erling Haaland, was removed from the entertainment venue. Most of them speculated that the star was involved in an incident or had too much alcohol, but the nightclub manager Christopher Naesheim told "Bild" a completely different reason. "Erling was not drunk. He agreed to cooperate and showed full understanding when he was approached outside. Due to the restrictions arising from the coronavirus pandemic, security personnel began to fear the crowd gathering around Haaland. We knew that fans would not stop flocking to Erling and constantly asking for photos. Eventually, the pressure became too great and we decided to ask the footballer to leave the club," the manager explained. As of June 15, events with no more than 200 people are allowed in Norway, but they must maintain at least one meter distance between each other.
