On Friday in Monaco, the draws for the group stage of the UEFA Europa League were made, dividing 48 teams from the Old Continent into 12 groups of four.
The champions Atletico Madrid will defend their title against Tel Aviv's Hapoel, Plzen's Viktoria, and Coimbra's Academica.
The group stage will begin on September 20. It will end on December 6, with the knockout phase starting in mid-February.
The final is planned for May 15, 2013, in the "Amsterdam ArenA" stadium in the Netherlands.
