During the night from Thursday to Friday in South America, the group stage draw of the 2019 "Copa America" tournament took place.
This year's South American championship in Brazil will have three groups, each consisting of four teams. The tournament will feature a guest team - Qatar, who will host the 2022 World Cup.
Japan is also invited to participate in the tournament, but it won't be their first time - in 1999, Japan was also invited to the South American championship.
In Group A, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, and Bolivia will compete against each other. In Group B, Argentina, led by Lionel Messi, will face Colombia, Paraguay, and Qatar.
In Group C, there are also interesting matchups - Chile, Uruguay, Japan, and Ecuador.
The "Copa America" tournament, taking place in five Brazilian cities, will start on June 14 and end on July 7.
