"Honorary president of the Bayern Munich club Franz Beckenbauer acknowledges that striker Mario Mandžukić may leave the team this summer. In July, Borussia forward Robert Lewandowski will join the Bavarian team, so there may no longer be a place for the Croatian in Pep Guardiola's squad. "Mandžukić may have to pack his bags. I see Lewandowski in the attack, as he fits better into Guardiola's tactical schemes," said the legendary German national team defender. "This is not the only reason why he may leave. Mario Götze and Thomas Müller can also play in the attack," Beckenbauer added. Mandžukić scored 12 goals in 24 matches for Bayern this season in all competitions."
