„Liverpool“ forward Fabio Borini is confident that, if manager Brendan Rodgers gives him a chance, the Italian can be a productive pillar in the "Reds" attacks.
During the 2013-14 season, the 23-year-old spent his time on loan at "Sunderland". In the Premier League, Borini managed to score 10 goals. During the off-season, it was thought that the player would leave "Anfield" for good, but he rejected offers from other clubs and wanted to stay in Liverpool.
So far this season, the Italian player has only made three appearances on the field, but he still believes that he can impress the club and the national team coaches.
Asked by the official team website about his goals for this year, Borini replied: "„Step by step, I want to break into the starting lineup as soon as possible and maintain my place there for as long as possible."“
„After that, I want to stay with the team, score goals, and improve my personal record of accurate shots. During the time I was on loan, my personality did not change. In addition, I improved my game."“
„I can offer hard work and goals every week - as before. Representing Sunderland, I looked good and led the team forward in important moments."“
„I can do the same here. There are better players around me now, so everything will be easier. Also, I want to return to the national team."“
