Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo left the field for the second time in a week after being substituted.
The 34-year-old footballer played 55 minutes in Sunday's match against Milan. He was replaced by Paulo Dybala, who later scored the winning goal.
It is said that C. Ronaldo has knee problems, although it is not ruled out that Maurizio Sarri substituted him for tactical reasons.
Italian football specialist Fabio Capello, known for his critical remarks, stated that Ronaldo's behavior of leaving the field without looking at the bench and heading straight to the locker room is not justified.
"At the moment he is not playing well, so substituting him was a good decision," said the 73-year-old Italian. "You need to have personality to make such a substitution, but Sarri was not wrong. The final result of the match proves that."
"The fact that he did not go to the bench and exchanged a few bitter words with Sarri does not show anything good. You have to stay a champion even when you are being substituted, not just when everything is going well. Right now he is not playing well, and Dybala is in great form.
"If I were Sarri, I would scold him in the locker room. I would tell him to respect his teammates and if I decide to make a substitution, it means that I am doing it to win the match," continued F. Capello.
Later, the famous specialist added even more criticism towards C. Ronaldo.
"The truth is that Ronaldo has not 'dribbled' any player for three years. I remember when he used to sprint with the ball and leave his opponents behind.
"Now you won't see such things in his game - only Douglas Costa and Dybala do that in the Juventus team," added F. Capello.
C. Ronaldo has scored only 6 goals in 14 games this season.
