In recent years, plagued by poor results, the Netherlands national team has decided to take the path of change.
Just a few days ago, the team that dismissed coach Danny Blind is looking for new candidates, but at least one from the list could be removed.
Former Ajax manager Frank De Boer was named as one of the most realistic contenders to take over the reins of the "Oranje", but this news was immediately denied by the coach's representatives.
"He wants to work every day and will not be the new coach of the Netherlands.
This decision had no risk factor - Frank simply wants to work with a club team," said Guido Albers.
Frank's twin brother Ronald tried to advise the country's federation by suggesting Henk ten Cate - the coach of Abu Dhabi's Al Jazira club.
"I would advise Louis Van Gaal not to take such a risk - better to offer the position to the charismatic ten Cate. He develops international talents and likes attacking football."
