Dutch football talent Frenkie de Jong asserts that he never doubted his ability to play for a club like Barcelona.
Last summer, the 22-year-old midfielder who joined Barcelona has integrated well into the team and is now the indisputable starter of the starting eleven.
The Dutchman admitted that the greatest pleasure for him is the opportunity to play in the same team with the best players in the world on their respective positions.
"I knew that one day I would leave Ajax, but I never expected to take such a big career step," F. de Jong said about his move to Barcelona.
"I know at what level we were last season, but it is even higher at Barcelona. Now I play with even bigger names.
Players like Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, and Sergio Busquets are special. Despite their status, I never doubted that I could play with them," the midfielder added.
