F. de Jong is considering a radical solution

The "Barcelona" team may lose midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

As reported by AS, the player's agent Ali Dursun has started to explore the possibilities for Saudi Arabian clubs to hire his client.

The 27-year-old Dutchman has been unable to reach an agreement with "Barca" regarding a new contract – the Catalans want to reduce his salary by 9 million euros "in hand," as well as a 4.2 million euro loyalty bonus and a 2 million euro bonus if the player appears in at least 60% of the season's matches.

Such intentions are concerning for the athlete, who is ready to take on a serious challenge and move to the "more stable" league in the Middle East.

The current "Barca" contract with F. de Jong will be valid until the summer of 2026.
