The Spanish media is once again worried about the future of Frenkie de Jong at Barcelona.
According to "Sport" and "Relevo", F. de Jong is the first candidate to leave the Catalan club this summer, thus somewhat releasing the financial muscles.
It is rumored that the 26-year-old Dutchman is the highest earner at Barcelona. He signed a €40.8 million annual contract with the old management. Robert Lewandowski, who earns €22.6 million per year, is the second highest-paid player in the ranks of the Spanish champions.
Manchester United and Arsenal clubs may be interested in F. de Jong. "Sport" also mentions Chelsea as a potential candidate.
In Spain, this season the midfielder played 15 matches in which he scored 1 goal.
