F. Lampard on E. Hazard: "He cannot be replaced by any other player"

Frank Lampard and his coached "Chelsea" team face another tough test on Wednesday - the UEFA Super Cup match against "Liverpool."

The "Aristocrats" lost their leader Eden Hazard this summer, who left for Real Madrid. Before the Wednesday match, F. Lampard said that it is impossible to replace the Belgian with another player, so the whole team has to step up.

"I was a huge fan of Eden, and I also had the opportunity to play alongside him. Last season, in my opinion, he was one of the best players in the world, but he was particularly productive during all those years when he played for Chelsea.

I think he cannot be replaced by another player because Eden is now at a very high point in his career.

The good news is that we have a group of players, both young and experienced, and they now have the opportunity to step forward both as a team and as individuals. This is what we need because with Eden's departure, we lost a lot of goals and assists.

We need to be a team and find a way to remain strong because a club like Chelsea always finds a solution. Eden Hazard, John Terry, Didier Drogba rapidly improved in this club, and now it is time for other players and another coach."

This is a real challenge, but we have to wish Eden good luck and move forward," Lampard said before the Super Cup match.

Chelsea suffered a heavy blow in the start of the Premier League, losing 0:4 away to the Manchester United team. Nevertheless, Lampard believes in his team's chances of triumphing in the UEFA Super Cup match.

"I am optimistic because I believe in my players and because we are in the final because we deserve to be here. This is not my achievement, but the club's and the players' achievement from last season, but I am proud to be here and coaching this team.

I understand the high level of the Liverpool team who rightfully triumphed in the Champions League. They have a fantastic coach and excellent players. It will be a huge test for us, but I believe in my players and if we play as well as we can, then we have a chance to triumph," added the Englishman.
