F. Lampard ruthless - English goal prevented "Chelsea" club from stealing victory (VIDEO)

On Sunday evening, the last two matches of the 5th round were played in the English Premier League.

The most interesting game took place at the Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City clashed with Chelsea from London. Neither team managed to achieve a victory, and the match ended 1-1.

In the first half, there was no shortage of intensity and several yellow cards were shown in the first 45 minutes. The "Man City" players appeared more aggressive, but neither they nor the "Blues" managed to score a goal.

The second half started with a similar scenario, but in the 66th minute, Manuel Pellegrini received bad news - defender Pablo Zabaleta was sent off the field after receiving a second yellow card.

The Chelsea team took advantage of this and in the 71st minute, substitute Andre Schurrle defeated Joe Hart. However, in the 85th minute, the "Blues" fans witnessed what they feared most - Frank Lampard, who also came on as a substitute, scored against his former team and secured the draw.

After the draw, Chelsea confidently remains in the first place, while Man City occupies the seventh place with 8 points.

In other matches, a somewhat unexpected result was recorded. Liverpool's Everton lost 2-3 at home to the Crystal Palace team from London.

Romelu Lukaku put the hosts ahead at the beginning of the match, but the visitors from the capital managed to score three goals against Tim Howard's goal a little later.
