F. Lampardas: "We stopped playing after the first half"

For the third time in official matches, London's "Chelsea" starts with an exciting meeting, but still remains without victories.

Frank Lampard's coached team drew 1:1 with "Leicester City" in the Premier League matches. Mason Mount put the "Blues" ahead, but later the "Foxes" equalized after taking control of the ball and were close to all three points.

F. Lampard, whose team played a very tough match on Wednesday, said that in the second half against "Leicester" they lost control of the game.

“At first, we were quick and energetic, but later we allowed 'Leicester' to get back into the game. I was very dissatisfied with the second half, where we allowed them to create too many counterattacks," explained the strategist.

“We can only blame ourselves. In all our matches, there was the same problem - they had the ball but couldn't find spaces where it could move much faster and more effectively.

We need to show even more perseverance, which could be seen in the middle of this week, but it was certainly not the case today," Lampard continued.

Talking about the rising star of the team, M. Mount, the coach added: “I am very happy with Mason. It was a great goal, and at that moment we were just flying around the field. I know he will be disappointed about the lost three points."
