F. Leboeuf: "Chelsea" faces serious threat of dropping out of the top four

Former London 'Chelsea' player Frank Leboeuf is not expecting much from the 'Blues' team this season.

In an interview with ESPN, the former French footballer admitted that Frank Lampard is doing a good job with the current squad.

In the English Premier League, 'Chelsea' is still holding onto the fourth position, but they have four other clubs close behind. The closest to their goal is 'Tottenham', trailing by just 4 points.

"I have serious doubts about Chelsea's chances of staying in the top four", said the Frenchman. "We need to respect the other teams that are close behind. They will definitely not give up, they will try to surpass Chelsea."

"I am happy with what Frank is doing - both his work and the style in which the team plays. However, there is a good chance that 'Tottenham', 'Wolves', or 'Man Utd' will try to take the fourth position at the end of the season."

"We should not expect much from Chelsea, as the club did not make any deals in the summer or winter. It is difficult not only for Lampard but also for the club itself. It's nice to see a team still fighting, even though the situation is not ideal."

"I still believe that Chelsea will reach the 'Top 4', but it will be a particularly challenging task", added F. Leboeuf.
