Madriddo "Real" team president Florentino Perez expressed confidence in goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
Navas' situation in Madrid is not easy - "Real" has been linked to the acquisition of a new goalkeeper for several years, and the Costa Rican himself also has fluctuations in his performance.
However, local club fans highly respect and support Navas, and the player himself is not indifferent to them. The goalkeeper participated in the 30th anniversary celebration of the "Real" fans' club together with the president and legends like Raul.
"Keylor, with his talent, professionalism, and dedication, has earned the love he receives in this club.
He has values that are appropriate for the "Real" club, so we are very proud to have him guarding our goal.
He knows perfectly well what it means to play in Madrid - to fight for his place day in and day out. I am sure that he will be with us for more than one year," added F. Perez.
"Real" acquired Navas for 10 million euros in 2014. The goalkeeper has already played 136 matches and triumphed in the Champions League twice in a row.
