F. Perezas changed his mind: L. Modrić remains in the club for another season

The won titles forced the president of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez, to change his mind.

At the beginning of May, foreign media trumpeted that the 38-year-old Croatian would leave the team at the end of the season.

However, after winning the Champions League final, F. Perez announced that those plans would be canceled:

“I think Luka will stay with us. I believe he will represent Real for another season.”

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, both parties will soon meet and sign a new contract.
