After spending 8 years with the Portugal national team, Fernando Santos will take over the reins of another European team.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano reports that the experienced 68-year-old coach will soon become the head coach of the Poland national team - both sides are nearing an agreement.
Portugal and the Polish Football Federation will sign a contract until 2026.
F. Santos will be the second Portuguese to take charge of the Poland national team. In 2021, the team was led by Paulo Sousa.
F. Santos led the Portugal national team to triumph in the 2016 European Championship and the 2019 Nations League.
