Lithuania's national team will not receive discounts - Portugal will play upcoming European Championship qualifying matches with the strongest lineup.
On Thursday, Portugal will host Lithuanian footballers at home, who were defeated in the first match with a score of 1:5. The nightmare of Lithuanian defenders became one person - Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored four goals in almost 80 minutes of the game.
The 34-year-old forward recently had problems at his club - he was substituted in matches against Moscow's "Lokomotiv" and "Milan".
It is said that the Portuguese has some road problems, but Portugal's national team coach Fernando Santos claims that C. Ronaldo is ready to play.
"Everyone wants to talk about him, but that's understandable - he is the best footballer on the planet," said F. Santos.
"Cristiano is with us, he feels great and is ready to play," briefly commented the coach on the condition of his team's captain.
Portugal has not yet secured a place in next year's European Championship, but they are looking forward to a very comfortable finish - matches against our national team and Liechtenstein.
