F. Santos upset with journalists: the team is not just made up of C. Ronaldo

The Portugal national team finished preparing for the World Cup quarter-finals - on Saturday evening the European champions will face Uruguay.

The head coach of the Portugal national team, Fernando Santos, was not pleased at the pre-match press conference when he heard questions once again about the team's dependence on Cristiano Ronaldo.

"I understand your question, but I have to repeat what I have said many times - the team is made up of more than one player. We have one of the best players on the planet, the Uruguayan coach could say the same about his team. All national teams have many great footballers within their ranks and are not dependent on just one player," the coach said.

A bit calmer, F. Santos spoke about Uruguay's strength: "Uruguay has great players - Suarez and Cavani are attacking stars, but if we look at their defensive line, it is made up of players who play for Inter and Juventus."

"This is a very experienced team, which has a clear philosophy and has been using it for over 10 years. It would be hard to find weaknesses in this team. It will be a great match, in which both teams will fight for victory. Despite how strong the Uruguayans are, I believe we will win."

The Portugal and Uruguay match will start at 21:00.
