F. Totti, who has ended his career, will take on the role of director at "Roma" club

"Roma" club symbol Francesco Totti confirmed that he officially ended his football career, but will not separate from his only club.

The 40-year-old Italian, who spent his entire glorious career at "Roma" club, finished his career last season and officially will take on the role of director of the "Giallorossi" team from this summer.

"A part of my career as a player is over, but now a new stage of life begins. Now I am the director of the "Roma" club and I hope to leave the same mark in this role as I did on the pitch", said F. Totti.

The Italian football legend began playing for the main "Roma" team back in 1992. The attacking midfielder, who has won the "Serie A" championship in the past, played a total of 786 matches and scored 307 goals in the ranks of the "Giallorossi".
