F. Valverde signed a new contract with "Real" ingrained in the starting eleven

"Real" Madrid club has long linked the future with rising Uruguayan football star Federico Valverde. The 21-year-old midfielder, who joined the "Real" academy in 2016, has signed a new seven-year contract. "Marca" wrote that both parties signed the contract, which will be valid until 2025. As is customary for Spanish clubs, F. Valverde's contract includes an impressive release clause of 750 million euros. The Uruguayan started playing for the main "Real" team from last season, but it wasn't until this fall that he became a key figure in Zinedine Zidane's tactics. Replacing Luka Modrić in the starting eleven, the midfielder has already played 12 matches this season, scoring two goals and providing as many assists. "Marca" also adds that "Real" has signed a new contract with Casemiro, although it has not been publicly announced. Watch F. Valverde's highlights from this season:
