FA accuses Nuno Espirito Santo © AFP

Football Association on New Year's Eve brought charges against "Wolves" team head coach Nuno Espirito Santo for his criticism of referee Lee Mason. After "Wolves" lost to "Burnley", Nuno claimed that the referee "is not good enough" to officiate at the highest level. Later, the Portuguese coach refused to apologize for his statement. The FA states that the coach's comments are inappropriate as they were directed personally at the match officiating coach. Portugal has until January 5th to respond to these charges.
