Optimistic "Premier" League plan will be put on hold - all divisions in England will not resume until at least April 30.
FA met with league representatives and decided that the "Premier" League and other leagues cannot be extended by April 3, as initially expected.
Rules state that all league seasons cannot last longer than June 1, but now it has been decided to extend the season for an indefinite period.
Most clubs in the "Premier" League have nine matches left to play, and "Liverpool" is just six points away from the championship title.
Representatives of other leagues, such as "La Liga" President Javier Tebas, suggest that national championships will be extended at best until mid-May.
A total of 2,626 cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the UK. 106 people have already died from the deceptive virus.
Premier League postponement extended to 30 April.
FA board have agreed to extend season indefinitely past 1 June.
Pretty much all they can do.
