"Premier" league clubs tested their strength in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
In matches where there were no league matches, "Manchester City" clashed with another "Premier" league representative - the "Burnley" club at home. The latter took the lead after the first half, but the "city dwellers" did not stay in debt - they scored four goals in the second half and moved on.
In the 25th minute after a rough mistake by John Stones, Ashley Barnes set off running forward and brilliantly defeated Claudio Bravo with a shot.
However, in the second half, the "city dwellers" showed an amazing game. The duo of Sergio Aguero and Ilkay Gundogan completely changed the course of the match in two minutes - "Man City" was already leading 2-1 in the 58th minute when the Argentine scored his double.
Later, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva added another goal to secure the victory.
The remaining matches where at least one representative of the "Premier" league competed ended with victories for "Huddersfield", "West Brom", "Southampton", "Newcastle", and "Watford".
More matches still to be played with "Leicester", "Bournemouth" and "Swansea" clubs playing in even matches. The only loss suffered by a "Premier" league club was "Stoke City" who lost to the "Coventry" team.
In the last match, the country's champions, London's "Chelsea", failed to defeat "Norwich" and will have to fight rivals again to advance to the next stage.
