FA Cup: O. Giroud saves "Arsenal" Again, "Leicester" Overcomes "Everton" Barrier

t 17 o'clock Lithuanian time in England, the third stage of the FA Cup continued.

At "Goodison Park" stadium Liverpool's "Everton" team battled with "Leicester City". Ahmed Musa's double forced the hosts to withdraw from the FA Cup trophy competition.

In the 63rd minute Romelu Lukaku led "Toffees" in front, but just three minutes later, A. Musa, who appeared on the pitch at the 35th minute after a substitution, equalized the score. In the 71st minute, the same African scored the winning goal.

In other matches, "Bournemouth" players suffered a defeat with a score of 3-0 against "Millwall" and were eliminated from the tournament. "Hull City", "Wolves", "Watford" and "Derby" clubs celebrated reaching the quarter-finals.

"Southampton", "Crystal Palace", "Burnley", and "Sunderland" still have to fight for advancement to the next stage - their matches ended in a draw.

In the last matches, which started at 19:30 Lithuanian time, London's "Arsenal" team clashed with "Preston" players who compete in the Championship. Olivier Giroud once again saved his team - the Gunners expanded their ticket to the quarter-finals at the end of the match.

The hosts took the lead at the beginning of the match and throughout the remaining time of the first half, "Arsenal" was unable to equalize the score. However, the second half started much more successfully - already in the first attack, Aaron Ramsey leveled the score.

Later in the match, there was a fierce battle. Approaching the end of the match, the Gunners began to press the opponents and in the 89th minute, O. Giroud scored the winning goal. The Frenchman defeated the opponent's goalkeeper after a mix-up in the penalty area.
