FA "Šiauliai" and "Džiugas" Glided Past the Goals

After the selected break, the "TOPsport A League" returned to very productive fighting in Šiauliai. In the 17th round, FA "Šiauliai" fell behind by two goals, but managed to secure a point in a match against Telšiai's "Džiugu" - 3:3.

The first half started more successfully for the hosts. In the 16th minute, after a long shot, the ball graciously bounced off Donatas Kazlauskas and he directed it towards the goal.

The guests responded with three goals. In the 29th minute, a great counterattack was successfully finished by Dominykas Kubilinskas, in the 42nd minute Lukas Ankudinovas accurately headed the ball into the net after a raised corner kick, and just three minutes later D. Kubilinskas celebrated a brace.

In the second half, the Šiauliai team quickly equalized the score - in the 53rd minute Davis Ikauniekas scored. The hosts' chances of getting a point significantly decreased as Egidijus Vaitkūnas was sent off the field after receiving his second yellow card.

However, in the 86th minute D. Ikauniekas's brace restored parity, and Lukas Paukštė in the final minutes saved the team from a very dangerous attempt by Nino Noordanus.
