FA "Šiauliai” continues to line up troops for the new season. The team from the Sun City has signed a contract with 25-year-old defender from Serbia – Marko Mandić.
"Šiaulių” newcomer started his career at the Belgrade "Partizan” academy, later the regional defender joined the Novi Sad "Vojvodina” club, where he developed in the U19 team. He did not wear the jersey of the aforementioned "Vojvodina” first team, as he played on loan for "OFK Bečej 1918” and Novi Sad "Kabel” teams.
Later, the defender spent a year with the Palanka "OFK Bačka” team, where he played 30 matches, provided 1 assist, and spent the most minutes on the field in his career.
In the 2022 season, the player joined the Novi Sad "Mladost GAT” team, where he played 18 matches and provided 1 assist in the top Serbian football league.
Shortly after, Marko continued his career at "RFK Novi Sad 1921” club, where he played for half a year before his season was interrupted by a knee ligament injury. During this period, the player played 16 matches and recorded 3 assists.
In last year’s season, M. Mandić started his legionnaire career and went to play in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The player spent a year with the Gabela "NK Gošk” team. In the highest division of the country, Marko played 13 matches and scored 1 goal.
