London's "Tottenham" club talent Harry Winks faced one of the biggest challenges of his career on Wednesday - he tried to stop "Barça" and its leader Lionel Messi.
The attempt was not entirely successful - "Tottenham" conceded two goals, but L. Messi responded with the same and celebrated a 4:2 victory for the Catalans.
H. Winks says that L. Messi is an "all-round" player, whom is extremely difficult to stop: "I enjoyed the opportunity to play against him. Of course, the result takes away that joy, but someday I will remember the episodes of my career and be able to say that I played against Messi, who, in my opinion, is the best football player of all time."
"It's hard to talk now and explain the thoughts I have in mind. We lost and that is the most important part of these matches.
The only way I could describe the meeting with him (Messi -ed.) is that I saw what it means in football to be a "completely rounded player."
He always knows where his teammates are. His passing trajectory is something exceptional. He is a special player. I think that any player who has faced him at least once in his career could say the same," added H. Winks.
