Radamel Falcao insists he has no intentions of leaving Madrid's "Atletico" club until the end of this season, although London's "Chelsea" is seeking to acquire him this winter.
English team owner Roman Abramovich is willing to pay over 58 million euros for the 26-year-old Colombian, but he plans to make a decision about his future only after this season ends.
"I highly appreciate the efforts of Atletico's president Enrique Cerezo to keep me in this club," said Falcao. "I am extremely happy that the results on the field are also good. I hope it will continue until the end of the season."
"Chelsea" is looking for reinforcements in attack, as Daniel Sturridge will soon move to "Liverpool", leaving Fernando Torres as the only nominal striker in London.
In the Spanish championship, Falcao scored seventeen goals in sixteen matches.
