Supporters of the Swedish national team heard sad news.
The biggest star of the team, Zlatan Ibrahimović, announced his retirement from the team.
The 34-year-old forward will retire from the national team after the European Championship in France, so the match against Belgium could be his last.
"I hope the tournament will continue as long as possible because the last match will end my career in the team.
However, I do not feel disappointed. I am very proud to be the captain of the Swedish national team.
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the fans who always support me and travel with me. I will always carry the Swedish flag and defend it," the veteran said.
