Fantastic news: J. Iličič, who overcame depression, will travel to the European Championship

Josip Iličič fully recovered after a rough period in his life.

Having overcome depression, J. Iličič looked lively in friendly matches, and the coach of the Slovenian national team decided to include him among the 26 players for the championship.

The 36-year-old Slovenian left "Atalanta" club in 2022. After that, he suffered from depression, unable to cope with his wife's betrayal.

In the "Maribor" club, J. Iličič is teammates with the Lithuanian Pijus Širvys. 

Josip Iličić went through depression, hadn't played for Slovenia since 2021 and scored on his return to the national team.
