Carlos Tevez will need at least two more weeks of training to return to the main team.
The scandalous forward last played an official match on September 21. Later, he fled to his homeland, from where he only returned this year.
"At the moment, he cannot play. Maybe after a couple of weeks he will be ready," said Manchester team manager Roberto Mancini.
Last week, the Italian specialist accepted Tevez's apology for his misconduct and promised to forget their conflicts.
