Yesterday evening, World Cup qualifying matches between European national teams were played. Teams from groups D, G, and I entered the battle.

In Group D, the leader Serbia conceded a goal to the Georgians in the sixth minute, but thanks to precise shots from Dusan Tadic, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Mijat Gacinovic, they took home another victory.

Meanwhile, the teams in second and third place, Ireland and Wales, could not break the deadlock, and Austria took advantage of this result. They only broke through the Moldovan national team's defense in the second half, when Marcel Sabitzer scored. Finally, Martin Harnik scored in this match.

The favorites of Group G easily dealt with their opponents. The Italian team defeated Albania at home, where Daniele De Rossi and Ciro Immobile's goals were decisive.

On the other hand, the Spanish forced Israel to surrender. Standouts in the team led by Julen Lopetegui were David Silva, Vitolo, Diego Costa, and Isco.

The leader of Group I, Croatia, narrowly defeated Ukraine today. The only goal was scored by Nikola Kalinic.

Stepping down a rung, Iceland only after a tough fight forced Kosovo to surrender, which even led in terms of ball control. However, only Atdhe Nuhiu managed to respond to goals from Bjorn Sigurdarson and Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Also, Turkey earned three points in this group, as they brought victory at the beginning of the first half with a double from Cenk Tosun.
