One of the best Italian coaches Fabio Capello believes that Cristiano Ronaldo is an amazing footballer, but he cannot be called a genius.
According to the strategist, there are three geniuses in football, and C. Ronaldo is not one of them.
"Ronaldo is an incredible footballer, but out of the current players, only Messi can be called a genius," F. Capello told "Sky Sport" television.
"In football, there are three geniuses - Pele, Maradona, and Messi. Ronaldo can continue to help his teams win, but Messi is a genius and will continue to stand out.
The first time I saw Messi, he was only 16 years old. I was simply amazed. Even then, he was doing things that he still does now. That's how it is with geniuses.
Ronaldo became a champion, but he will never be considered a genius," Capello added.
