Stambul acquired defender Alberto Riera for security, while another Turkish club - Stambul - added defender Reto Ziegler.
29-year-old Riera, who represented Piraeus' "Olympiacos," was paid 3 million euros by "Galatasaray." The footballer signed a four-year contract.
"I thank the leaders of 'Olympiacos' who satisfied my desire to move to Istanbul. The conditions offered to me and my family were excellent," said Riera.
Meanwhile, "Fenerbahce" snatched Ziegler from "Juventus" in Turin for 600 thousand euros.
The Swiss national team member only moved from "Sampdoria" in Genoa to Turin this summer, but he disappointed coach Antonio Conte, as he did not demonstrate good athletic form.
