The "Feyenoord" club of Rotterdam, after the resignation of head coach Ruud Gullit, appointed former strategist of "RKC Waalwijk," Ronaldo Koeman's older brother Erwin, who signed a two-year contract.

Koeman, who played for "Groningen," "PSV," and Belgian "Mechelen" during his football player career and won the European Championship with the Dutch national team in 1988, started his coaching career as the coach of "PSV" reserves. Later, he was an assistant coach for three years and this season helped "RKC" secure the ninth place in the league.
R. Gullit left "Feyenoord" on Monday, after an unsuccessful season - the Rotterdam team finished fourth in the Dutch championship and ended up 25 points behind the champions, "PSV."
