The Dutch television channel "Talpa" strongly claims that Arsene Wenger is "extremely serious" about the 23-year-old Egyptian Hossam Ghaly. Another "Feyenoord" player, forward Dirk Kuyt, swears that the Gunners are specifically interested in him. In two seasons, the 25-year-old Dutchman scored 53 goals, including 8 goals this season.
"It really pleased me that such a famous coach as Arsene Wenger didn't hesitate to fly from England to Rotterdam just to see how I play," praised D.Kuyt. "Of course, I would be happy to connect my future with the Arsenal club, but I am not one of those people who give up easily."
