FIFA once again reacted to the war in Ukraine. The global football organization announced that it is reducing restrictions for players from Russian clubs who are playing as legionnaires. According to FIFA, from now on they will be able to unilaterally suspend contracts and move to other teams for a few months. They will only be able to temporarily suspend contracts until the end of the season in Russia (June 30). Meanwhile, the FIFPRO players' union criticized this decision and urges to allow athletes to fully terminate their contracts.
