FIFA has compiled a list of ten coaches, one of whom will receive the award for the best strategist of 2019 this fall. Competing for the best prize are club coaches Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola, Mauricio Pochettino, Erik ten Hag, and Marcelo Gallardo, as well as national team coaches Djamel Belmadi, Didier Deschamps, Ricardo Gareca, Fernando Santos, and Tite. The favorites to win this award are European candidates Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp. The best coach of the year will be awarded at a ceremony in Milan on September 23. Football fans from all over the world will be able to participate in the voting, but the most important votes will come from journalists, national team coaches, and team captains.
