FIFA Awards: best coaches and footballers announced

FIFA on Monday presented the contenders to win the 2019 Best awards. Three players are competing for the Best Player of the Year award: Lionel Messi, Virgil van Dijk, and Cristiano Ronaldo. Just like in the UEFA awards, here Van Dijk is considered a favorite, having won the UEFA Champions League. The award for the Best Coach of the Year is sought after by football specialists working in the English Premier League: Jurgen Klopp, Mauricio Pochettino, and Pep Guardiola. The Best Goalkeeper award will go to one of these players: Alisson, Ederson, or Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The contenders for the author of the Most Beautiful Goal of the Year are Lionel Messi (against "Real Betis"), Juan Quintero (against "Racing Club"), and Daniel Zsori (against "Ferencvaros"). At this FIFA ceremony, women's football representatives and coaches will also be awarded with the same prizes. The winners of all awards will be announced at the ceremony in Milan on September 23rd.
