FIFA Awards Ceremony - without C. Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to promise to boycott awards in which he doubts his chances of winning the main prize.

Italian "Sky Sport" writes that the 33-year-old footballer will not fly to London on Monday, where the 2018 FIFA Awards will take place. The player of the year will be announced not only the best player of the year but also the best eleven players.

C. Ronaldo, along with Mohamed Salah and Luka Modric, is in the running for the title of best player of the year. It is not clear yet who among these three will receive the prize, but C. Ronaldo still refuses to attend the ceremony.

Interestingly, Lionel Messi, who didn't even make it to the final three, will still attend the ceremony. It is undeniable that the Argentine will be among the best eleven players.

If C. Ronaldo does not show up at the ceremony, it is likely that Luka Modric, who triumphed in the UEFA awards, will be the winner.

Let's remind that the Portuguese did not attend the UEFA awards, but found out about the results before boarding the plane.
