FIFA has decided to part ways with scandal-ridden general secretary Jerome Valcke.
The 55-year-old Frenchman has been one of the most important confidants of President Sepp Blatter for a long time and was suspended along with his boss several months ago.
It is believed that Valcke is involved in a deal that led to 2014 FIFA World Cup tickets ending up on the black market.
It is also said that the official tried to personally profit from the sale of tickets to the World Championships.
