FIFA has begun considering changes to the VAR system

FIFA has decided to listen to the voices of fans and coaches who criticize the VAR system.

According to „L'Equipe“ and „Mundo Deportivo“, the global football organization is ready to propose an alternative solution.

In the system called FVS, coaches would have two opportunities to ask the referee to review a contentious moment – if the first request is not successful, the second chance would disappear.

The matches would be filmed with only a few cameras, making this option affordable even in poorer countries.

The FVS has already been successfully tested at the girls' U17 and U20 World Championships, and its future will depend on the decision of the IFAB organization.
