European and world champion Spain still leads the FIFA world national teams ranking, while the Lithuanian national team maintained its 58th position.

Despite losing a total of 283 ranking points in a month, the Spaniards are ahead of the Netherlands in second place and Germany in third.

Brazil rose to fourth place, having finished the "Copa America" tournament in the quarterfinals, while the champion Uruguayan team climbed an impressive 13 positions to fifth place.

Chile climbed 16 places to 11th, Colombia climbed 19 to 35th, and Venezuela rose 29 to 40th.

In the European Championship qualification tournament, Lithuania's opponents saw the Czech Republic drop from 36th to 38th place, Scotland remained 61st, and Liechtenstein climbed from 120th to 118th.
