FIFA today announced the candidates who will compete for the best coach of the year award. In total, FIFA revealed a list of 11 candidates: Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus), Stanislovas Čerčesovas (Russia), Zlatko Daličius (Croatia), Didier Deschampsas (France), Pep Guardiola (Man City), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Roberto Martinez (Belgium), Diego Simeone (Atletico), Gareth Southgate (England), Ernesto Valverde (Barca), Zinedine Zidane (Real). The most realistic contender to receive the prize at the end of the year is considered to be D. Deschamps, who led the French national team to triumph in the World Cup. Also not ruled out are the names: Zlatko Daličius, Zinedine Zidane, and Pep Guardiola. Last year, Z. Zidane received the award for leading Real to the top in both La Liga and the Champions League tournaments.
