On Sunday, the biggest football event - the 2018 World Cup - came to an end. In the final, the victory was achieved by the French footballers who became world champions for the second time.
FIFA independent experts selected the best team of the championship, which surprised many football fans.
Immediately, eyes fall on the goalkeeper position - not the "golden glove" winner Thibaut Courtois, but Hugo Lloris, who made an incomprehensible mistake in the final but triumphed with France.
The quartet of defenders is also quite unexpected - Raphael Varane and Kieran Trippier deservedly found their place, but also Dejan Lovren and Ashley Young were visible.
The midfield line also presented a surprise - alongside the best player of the tournament Luka Modric, there was a member of the Brazilian national team, Paulinho. He scored one goal, but even without being a big football expert, it can be understood that both Paul Pogba and N'Golo Kante deserved more recognition.
